NeuroReef Labs develops advanced intelligent systems to enhance global health, providing innovative and reliable medical information. CareCortex, their flagship product, is an AI-powered platform that instantly generates EMR-ready clinical notes. It features dynamic evidence mapping, customizes workflows to practice protocols, and includes real-time compliance validation and audit logs for transparency. CareCortex frees healthcare teams from paperwork, allowing them to focus on patient care.

My Role: From Concept to Product

As the Chief Design Officer of CareCortex at NeuroReef Labs, I built the product from scratch. My design process began by deeply understanding the challenges faced by doctors, health specialists, medical assistants, clinicians, and care teams. We identified that existing tools like AWS HealthScribe were insufficient for complex clinical workflows.

My initial design phases included:

• Information Architecture: Structuring medical data and workflows.

• Initial Research Documents: Consolidating user insights.

• Wireframes: Prototyping core functionalities.

• Ideabank for UI: Exploring visual design.

CareCortex was developed iteratively, integrating continuous user feedback to ensure a user-friendly and effective solution.
